    What we do

    Impacting Our Region

    Prayer Outreach

God has called us to pray continuously, (1 Thess. 5:16-18) and we do so through weekly prayer meetings…

Twice a week, the intercessors gather and pray at the Lethbridge House of Prayer to pray for our city, province, nation and nations.

We also do on-site prayer outreach to Streets Alive. We align with Burn 24/7 Lethbridge through ministry prayer teams. Also, through invitation, LHOP prayer teams pray on-site at various conferences in the city.

    Ladies Prayer Retreates

LHOP hosts up to two Ladies Prayer Retreats annually based on the Song of Solomon 2:10-16 and Mark 6:31.

These foundational scriptures are used to encourage a time of quietness, reflection, waiting on and hearing the voice of God. Women of all ages need to know that they can hear from God and that He will speak to them right where they are at.

    Ekklesia meetings

A critical mandate is the alignment and training of intercessors. Training occurs…

    Prayer for Israel & nations

We also lead prayer gatherings for Israel and Nations, following the mandate to pray for the peace of Jerusalem…

through teaching, accountability and experience. The foundation of our Ekklesia Meetings is the revelation that Jesus Christ will build His Ekklesia (legislative assembly), and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. He has given us the keys to the Kingdom, and whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatsoever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Ekklesia operates as a legislative assembly, understanding the authority of Jesus Christ in and through us and releasing His Kingdom mandate on the earth.

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in Heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” Matt 16:18-20

    What Drives Us

    Our Mission

We serve our community first, then to the ends of the earth through prayer, intercession and good deeds. We believe in unity through prayer for the spiritual transformation of our city and nation.

    Where He leads

    Going Forward

    Training Leaders

The Lord spoke those words to me last year , 2019 – we will be releasing leaders for Kingdom advancement. Gathering the 5-fold ministry for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ.

    TeachinG

Bringing alignment through the plumbline of God’s word. Inviting in those called by God to come alongside us in training, teaching, activating and releasing into God’s destiny

    Development

As a leader of LHOP for the past twelve years, I know I require personal training as well. I attend a conference in Texas called the Statesmen Project that teaches effective methods to disciple nations and the value of Ekklesia Prayer.

    Who we are

    About LHOP

    Our journey

In 1987, while being obedient to the pastor of our church in Jamaica, I heard the audible voice of God in our bedroom – “I have called you to be an intercessor.” God has taught me about the power of intercession in the privacy of my prayer closet. Since then, Stuart and I have been continually growing in our ability to hear His voice (John 10:27-30)...

    Affiliations

We are affiliated with other Houses of Prayer in our nation: National House of Prayer; Red Leaf House of Prayer in British Columbia; Global Prayer House, Medicine Hat, and The House of Prayer in other nations such as Israel and in the United States. These connections are essential as we make ourselves relevant in prayer through prophetic words for our nation and Israel.
